How long?  Orders take 5-14 business days to process and manufacture plus ship time.  This is only an estimate and is not a guarantee. This time may be longer during holidays, rush times and during production breaks.  Your product is custom made for you so it will be worth the wait!   We cannot manually track for you and give you a specific ship date for your order.  You can read more here about tracking your order.

Can I change something?  No, you cannot make any changes once you place your order.  Review it carefully before you place it.
we recommend you review your shipping info, art, colors, device type, case color, and personalization to make sure you did everything correctly.  Once you submit it, we can't guarantee a change.  Period. No exceptions.


Can I cancel?  No, once you place your order and your card is charged you may not cancel and refunds are not available. You must agree to our terms before you purchase.  If you do not agree to our terms, then you are not able to purchase.

Track my order?
 You can track your orders online. Please log into your account with username and password.  Then click on "Orders" in the top right hand corner of screen to view your orders.  When it ships tracking will be available.  We are not able to track for you.  If there is no tracking listed online, then it has not shipped.  Please check back.  A shipping notification email will also be sent the the email address listed on your account.  We are not able to track your order for you and may not respond to "where's my order" emails.  If you see the message "Processing with MFG" when you review your order online that means it's processing with manufacturing and is currently in production being made just for you.  Production is estimated 5-14 business days plus ship time.  You can click here to go to our log in page to log into your preexisting account to check status of any of your orders.  If you've never ordered before you will have to create an account to place an order.  All customers who place orders have created an account and should log in to track all orders.

I'm missing an item: Some items may ship seperately so, for example,  if you received a cutting board and didn't receive your monogrammed phone case in the same package that is completley normal.  Please log in to review your order online to make sure you placed the order for all items wanted.  When each item ships, as they may ship seperately, a tracking number will be posted next to it and you will be emailed a tracking number with each shipment to the email address listed on your account.  Some of our different types of phone cases may also ship seperately.

Can I change my shipping address?  No, you cannot change anything on your order including shipping.  Whatever you entered when you placed your order is where it will ship.  If we have to assist to make a change in any way a custom change fee will apply and due to our automated order process and volume we cannot guarantee the change will be recognized as your order may have already been processed off site and we are unable to confirm that for you.

Can I reach you?
 Please email us or use or contact us form for questions prior to placing your order.  If you email us asking us to track your order we may not respond as we are unable to track your order.  You may track your order online at any time.  If you'd like us to call you, please email us your order number and what it's pertaining to and we can call you within 48 business hours.  We do not have a voicemail system for phone messages to be left.  Our preferred method of contact is email.  If your question pertains to a damaged or incorrect item, our customer care team does not handle that so please contact our Claims Department to file a claim.

My product arrived damaged or incorrect: Please email a picture of your product with the order number in subject line to claims(at)lipstickshades.com  We will review and get back with you within 2-7 business days.  Please read our policy on more detailed info on how to file a claim.

My initials are not correct on my item:  For most items you design and typeset your product.  You are forced to approve your online proof before you are allowed to place your order and you agree that you have reviewed your item and confirmed that all info including colors, design, font, personalization etc is correct.  You also must confirm that you are approving your proof and it is ready for production as is.  We do not change your proof once you approve it and comments noted in special instructions are not used to re-design your product.  If the image you are viewing on our online design tool is not correct, then do not approve your proof.  You must contact us with questions BEFORE you order.  You will receive the exact proof you approved online once your order is placed.  This means, if your monogram is aDs and your design is showing mRa, which is one of our stock monograms, on the approval page of our design tool, this means you did not enter your custom personalization.  You should hit the cancel or reset button and enter your own name or monogram before approving your proof.  If you approve it with an incorrect personalization, then your item will come with whatever personalization is shown on your approved proof so please review your custom designs very carefully.  You can file a claim and we will review.

Why are your monogrammed phone cases priced higher than some other generic phone cases?  Our cases are priced accordingly because they are custom made for you with your design choice, name or monogram and in some cases (pun intended) even your custom color choices.  You are paying extra for the customization and personalization.  You are not paying for a "magic" case that protects your iphone or device at some "magical increased" level as opposed to other generic cases bought in any retail store.  The additional cost is for the customization and personalization so that your case is unique and custom for only YOU!  Actually, our monogrammed iphone cases are priced lower than certain "name brand couture" generic cases that are not customized or personalized for you in any way.  

I ordered a regualar phone case, can I upgrad to the Otterbox?  No, each item is customized for you.  If you want a monogrammed Otterbox case then please order that case.  If you've already ordered another case and want the personalized Otterbox case you will still have to make a seperate purchase as we do not upgrade, exchange or refund items.

What level of protection do your personalized iphone cases provide?  We offer different cases so we will describe each. Please contact us BEFORE you place your order if you have any questions.  We will not replace your case if you order a case and then decide you want a different case with a different level of protection. Please see each category for a more detailed product description.  We do not warranty your iphone or device and are not responsible if your device is broken in any way and you claim it happened while using one of our cases.  Our cases are the same cases you can purchase at Apple Stores nationwide and other retailers and as with any product, there is not guareentee your deivce will be completely protected. We suggest and always recommend purchasing a warranty for your device from Apple or whoever your actual phone or device is purchased through. 

                        Monogrammed SImply stated iphone 4/4S Case:  Solid plastic shell that snaps on the back of your iphone 4, does not cover the front face of your iphone, simply fits flush along the sides to the front of the case, all ports and buttons accessible with case on, warrantied for 90 days from date of purchase.  The design is printed only on the back of this case and not the sides.  

                        Design Wrapped Monogrammed iphone Cases: Solid plastic shell that snaps on the back of your iphone 4 or other models, does not cover the front face of your iphone, simply fits flush along the sides to the front of the case, all ports and buttons accessible with case on, warrantied for 90 days from date of purchase.  The design is printed on the back AND sides of this case.  These are all of our cases other than simply stated cases and otterbox cases.  These personalized iphone cases are priced higher than our simply stated cases because your custom design is also printed on the sides of the case.  This style of phone case is available for the following models:

Monogrammed Otterbox TM iPhone 4 Cases: Otterbox TM Commuter Case Series, silicone case underneath covered with a hard plastic case, snaps on your iphone 4, does wrap over the front face of your iphone 4 for increased level of protection as compared to our other cases offered, Otterbox brand level of protection, this case is NOT waterproof, Warrantied through Lipstick Shades for only 90 days from date of purchase- Otterbox brand warranty does NOT apply to our personalized Otterbox Cases since the monogram Otterbox iPhone 4 Cases have been customized.  Design printed on back only.  This is NOT the bulky otterbox defender series.  Please make sure you are ordering exaclty what you want as returns and refunds are not available.

HOLIDAYS:
  Emails, orders or any business transactions are not processed during times when we are closed.  All orders or any business transactions placed during this time are processed in the order they are received once we return.  Dates below may change without notice at any time.  Processing and response time after Holiday Closings or during market tradeshows may be slower than estimated times for several weeks due to volume of placed orders.

(exact dates vary each year) - limited staff so response time and order processing may be delayed. Please review these FAQ's and policies for as the information you need may already be listed and we will respond as quick as we can with limited staff or when we return from the tradeshow.
