Hi, I'm the owner of Lipstick Shades and want to welcome you to our online store and share a little tid bit about us. 
        I started Lipstick Shades in 2005 while working full time as a new grad physical therapist as a creative outlet for my passion for style, fashion and      entertaining after doing tons of custom invitation and announcement orders for friends.  Lipstick Shades adventure into the gift industry began when my then new (and supercute) hubby encouraged me to litterally just pack up and go to market to offer Lipstick Shades to retail stores and boutiques.  WIth a tummy full of butterflies, no clue what to expect, and a supportive hubs in tow to Atlanta market, Lipstick Shades's journey began on I 20 east to Atlanta.  Of course, I can tell you now, as I laugh at myself while I remember this detail, that I did actually cry at dinner the night after the first day of show when I was heartbroken and discouraged that I didn't have a million dollars in sales already and not yet being sold in every Pottery Barn nationwide after my first 8 hours of show. Okay, insert laugh now.  However, it was a great experience and so the craziness began.

Fast forward years later, Lipstick Shades was the first to introduce and launch our now extrememly popular monogrammed iPhone Cases to the personalized gift industry and is thrilled to be able to continue to offer such creative and innovative first time new monogrammed gifts and products on our onine store and our partner retail stores, such as Neiman Marcus, nationwide.  

I am truly blessed with a wonderful supportive family and two small beautiful kiddos that have been answering the phone "Yipstick Shayes" since they could first talk.  I also have a great team and employees that I deeply appreciate and realize without them, filling all your personalized gift orders would not be possible.

So, if we were at the Acadamy Awards, Rachel is the first person on my acceptance speech thank you list.   Seriously, Rachel keeps this stylish bad boy boat afloat and is my right hand chic and "go to get it done girl."  You love her to because she is the reason your Monogrammed Otterbox Case or any of our Preppy Gift Accessories actually get to you. Well, unless our least favorite, I mean, current shipping company ,UPS loses it and then she'll even help you get your replacement. She handles our wholesale accounts, works with our entire production team, processes orders, and anything else that just  needs to get done, and somewhow manages to look this good in a photo! 

She's rocks the show here at Lipstick Shades and I ♥ her and TOTALLY appreciate her hard work!

Sweet, Sweet Mimi.  She is the loving hip chick and a "mimi" to 3 fabulous grandbabies and who is always doing more for others instead of herself, 

goes above and beyond to help everyone out, proceses orders, answers emails, assists with our supercoll online "design it yourself" tool, and dabbles in a little bit of it all here at Lipstick Shades.

She's also our very own MacGyver and will seriously have almost anything you need to dismantle a bomb in her handbag.

Ten FUN Things to know about your Lipstick Shades Team

1.  Pink is our favorite color...yes, all of us!
2.  We hate, strongly dislike, UPS.
3.  We hate ALL CAP words used for emphasis in emails.  Everyone prefers friendly communication and we're friendly...I mean, 
we are from the south ya'll!
4.  We love sushi and have the best sushi restarant right here in Birmingham!  

5. Our husbands think they're going to come home one day and even the TV will be monogrammed ;)
6.  Coffee first, work after, wine later.
7. It's definitely okay to wear Uggs with your workout clothes all day, whether you've worked out or not.
8. It is not possible to have too many handbags.
9. Frye boots are a must have accessory for every stylish and fashionable chic!
10. A smell good candle must be burning at all times & can make everyone there happier!
